Das Gemeindearchiv Eberstadt wurde während der Amtszeit von Bürgermeister Ludwig Seiboldt im Jahre 1985 neu geordnet und verzeichnet von Patricia Berger aus Lich.
Die Neuordnung des Gemeindearchivs Eberstadt vollzog sich nach folgenden Unterlagen und Richtlinien:

"Anleitung zur Ausscheidung des Gemeindeschriftgutes im Regierungsbezirk Darmstadt;
Bearbeiter: Staatsarchivrat Dr. Friedrich Knöpp, Darmstadt 1953"
Das Findbuch von Eberstadt wurde 2011 mit Fördermitteln der DFG retrokonvertiert.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings.
