Bestandsgeschichte: In zwei Ablieferungen des Jahres 2018 ist eine umfangreichere Dokumentation der Arbeit der IHK Stade seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1946 entstanden. Darunter befinden sich auch wenige Akten der früheren Geschäftsstellen und heutigen Außenstellen in Verden (seit 1946) und Cuxhaven (seit 1958). Sie spiegeln die Arbeit der IHK als Interessenvertreter für die gewerbliche Wirtschaft und Unternehmen in all ihren Facetten wider.
Eine weitere Ablieferung aus dem Jahr 2021 der Außenstelle Verden beinhaltet vor allem eine Materialsammlung zu Firmen des Geschäftsbereichs (mit zahlreichen Presseartikeln, Broschüren, veröffentlichten Handelsregisterauszügen und Jubiläumsschriften) sowie eine Kartei der Lehrling der Jahrgänge 1935ff.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.

In the sources, the persecutee is sometimes referred to as ‘Geschädigter’ (aggrieved party) and the applicant as ‘Anspruchsberechtigter’(claimant).
