Die Dokumentation von Christian Blackwood zeigt die Vergötterung Zarah Leanders durch den Homosexuellen Paul Seiler und lässt Weggefährten Leanders zu Wort kommen. Paul Zeiler erzählt hingebungsvoll wie Zarah Leander für ihn mehr als ein Mutterersatz war. In alten Interviewausschnitten erzählt Zarah Leander selbst über ihr Leben. Als Darstellerin in NS-Propaganda-Filmen und wegen ihrer guten Beziehung zu Joseph Goebbels musste sie sich den Vorwurf anhören, dass Sie ein Nazi und eine Spionin sei. Paul Seiler verteidigt die Schauspielerin in seinen Erzählungen. In der Schwulenszene wurde die Schauspielerin und Sängerin als Ikone gefeiert. So erzählt die Dragqueen Armand von ihrer Verkörperung der Zarah Leander auf der Bühne.

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
