Als "Handel mit photogr.[aphischen] Apparaten u.[nd] Bedarfs Artikeln i.[m] L.[aden] inn.[erer] Lauferpl.[atz] 2/4" (C 22/II Nr. 53, Eintrag 3038) begann das vom Gründer Hanns Porst später als "der Welt grösstes Photo-Spezialhaus" (vgl. E 9/26 Nr. 20) bezeichnete Unternehmen am 1. Juli 1919 in Nürnberg; als Photo-Porst AG meldete die Firma 2002 Insolvenz an. Die Rechte gingen an die Ringfoto-Gruppe und an Kodak (s. im Internet, Artikel über Photo-Porst in "Wikipedia. Die freie Enzyklopädie", Zugriffsdatum 16.05.2006).Ausführliche Informationen über das Fotogeschäft und den Versandhandel enthält u.a. die Veröffentlichung von Günther Kadlubek, Photo Porst - Eine Unternehmensgeschichte, Köln-Porz 2000 (Av-Bibl. 7118.4).Ab 1952 gelangten Drucksachen der Firma in das StadtAN; der letzte Zugang erfolgte 2003. Angesichts der Größe und Stellung des Unternehmens bilden jedoch die hier verwahrten Materialien nur einen verschwindend geringen Teil. So enthält der Einzelbestand insbesondere eine Zeitungsausschnittsammlung aus den 1950er Jahren und von 1979 bis 1980, mehrere Fotoalben mit Aufnahmen von dekorierten Schaufenstern von 1952 bis 1966, Sammlung von Produktbeschreibungen für Kundenberatungen von 1952 bis 1954, Werbeunterlagen und Kataloge. Einzelne Ausgaben der Drucksachen "Fotografieren & Filmen", "Der große Photohelfer" von Heinz Temmerl und "Der Filmhelfer" gelangten 2019 durch Schenkung in das Stadtarchiv.Die von Photo-Porst herausgegebenen Drucksachen wie "Photo-Katalog", später "Der Photohelfer", und die Hauszeitschrift "Nürnberger Photo-Trichter" werden zum Teil in der Bibliothek unter den Signaturen AvPer 746 und AvPer 228 verwahrt.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person.
