Sammlungen, Vereine, Gesellschaften, Stiftungen, Freundeskreise: Grafik- und Gemäldesammlung (Bestand)
Dieser Sammlungsbestand beinhaltet diverse Bildkonvolute unterschiedlichster Provenienz, Formate und Inhalte. Er speist sich größtenteils aus grafischen/gemalten/gestochenen Bildwerken, die aus anderen Beständen des Archivs herausgelöst und diesem Bestand hinzugefügt wurden. Aber auch durch private oder sonstige nichtamtliche Übergaben sind Grafiken und Gemälde in diese Sammlung gelangt. Die Provenienz ist - soweit bekannt - aufgeführt. Es handelt sich um einen offenen Bestand, denn er erfährt fortwährend Zuwachs. So stellt dieses Findbuch ein vorläufiges Findmittel, eine Momentaufnahme dar.
Dr. Tabea Mußgnug bearbeitete im Herbst 2012 diesen Bestand, der zu diesem Zeitpunkt aus 513 Einheiten bestand; durch Heinrich Löber wurde er nach dem Zuflußprinzip fortwährend ergänzt, so dass alle in unserem Archiv befindlichen Grafiken und Gemälde verzeichnet sind. Mit Stand vom 21.12.2022 handelt es sich 547 Verzeichnungseinheiten mit einer Gesamtlaufzeit von 1558 bis 2013.
13 Signaturen sind auch retrodigitalisiert archiviert (Nrn. 76, 107, 113, 132/20, 133/1-5, 491/4, 495, 528 und 530) und in diesem Findmittel abgebildet.
Nr. 106 wurde in Bestand 154., Bilder und Fotos, aufgenommen (154., Nr. 1255).
Die einzelnen Grafiken und Gemälde sind nach Format und weiteren bestandserhalterischen Kriterien gelagert, daher ist eine Standortsignatur angegeben.
The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
This number is important for making an inquiry to the relevant archive.

Role in the proceeding
‘Verfolgt’ refers to a person or organization that was persecuted under National Socialism. They could file a claim for compensation or restitution as part of the Wiedergutmachung policy. If the application was submitted by another person or organization than the persecutee (for example, their son or daughter), this other person or organization is designated as ‘antragstellend’ and their relationship to the persecutee is noted, if known. In the sources, the persecutee is sometimes referred to as ‘Geschädigter’ (aggrieved party) and the applicant as ‘Anspruchsberechtigter’(claimant).
