Der frühere Bestand "Schulverwaltungsamt und einzelne Schulen" wurde 1987 umbenannt in "Amt für Volksschulen und Schulverwaltungsamt"; die bis dahin im Bestand enthaltenen Schulen erhielten und erhalten künftig Einzelsignaturen innerhalb der Bestandsgruppen C (soweit es sich um städtische Schulen handelt) und E (z.B. E 32 Privatschule Stahl).Ein Zugang von Akten der Schulverwaltung erfolgte 1937/38, weitere Akten aus dem Schulbereich wurden 1951 übernommen. 1985/87 wurden die bis dahin vorliegenen Akten verzeichnet. Der Bestand enthält - alphabetisch nach Straße/Hausnummer geordnet - Schulhausakten zu den einzelnen Nürnberger Schulen (Nr. 1-217) und daran anschließend Unterlagen zur Aufgabenverwaltung (Nr. 218-518). Letztere enthalten Material zu nahezu allen den Unterricht und das schulische Umfeld betreffenden Belangen. Der Bestand enthält einige bis 1821 zurückgehende Unterlagen der Vorprovenienzen.2014 wurde das Findbuch C 24 (1) datenbankmäßig erfasst. Ein Teil der Abgabe des früheren Leiters des Amtes für Volksschulen und Förderschulen, Manfred Schreiner, aus dem Jahr 2006 wurde 2014 verzeichnet (Ergebnisse der Entnazifizierungsverfahren von Lehrern Nürnberger Schulen). Ein Teil der Abgabe ist noch unverzeichnet, sie enthält Unterlagen aus der unmittelbaren Nachkriegszeit (Protokolle der Schulratssitzungen 1949 ff.).

The Bundeszentralkartei (BZK) is the central register of the federal government and federal states for completed compensation proceedings. When a claim is entered into the BZK, a number is assigned for unique identification. This BZK number refers to a compensation claim, not to a person. If a person has made several claims (e.g. for themselves and for relatives), each claim generally has its own BZK number. Often, the file number of the respective compensation authority is used as the BZK number.
